After having photocopied the typography model presented pdf: 277622, compose your first name by cutting out each letter and sticking them on a sheet of black paper.3 'Installation of the pattern
Insert your pattern inside the glass and block it with a cloth or a piece of cloth.40 'Engraving
Burn the letters with the engraver. When your line of text to be engraved is long enough, this line no longer remains horizontal and it takes a slope due to the shape of the glass. To remedy this, draw a horizontal line with the indelible marker on the outside of the glass and cut out all the letters to position them on the drawn line, keeping them with Scotch tape.Advice
Refer to the explanations on glass engraving given on page 12 before starting work. If you want to burn a lot of glasses or create a service, it is advisable to equip yourself with an electric engraver. Accurate, it will save you a lot of time.
